The glass Cat was a two-part show opening at Danielle Arnaud Contemporary Art then at Wimbledon College of Art, in 2014. The exhibition comprises sculptural works that explore the potency of objects and the threshold between real and imaginary. Prowler consists of a small table with a built-in turntable, which slowly revolves a glass. The piece is spot-lit so the shadows become more present than the original objects. A strange shadow drawing scuttles across the wall like a broom with the shadow cat sitting poised, watching.
Creeper is a large-scale projection of a twig filmed whilst passing a sheet of ribbed glass in front or it to animate the object. The branch appears to be sucked from the floor and the wall.
